Elk View Lodge is 1.4 miles away from downtown Banner Elk, with breathtaking views of Grandfather, Sugar and Beech Mountain. This home is exceptionally close to all of the fun activities in the mountains, yet provides a relaxing getaway with one acre of total privacy! You will have incredible views from the wrap around porch on the top AND bottom! The home is full of amenities (hot tub, pool table, shuffle board, fire pit, etc.) for families or large groups to make special vacation memories!
Good to know
Elk View Lodge has 5 BR/3BA plus a game room. This property can sleep up to 14 guests and is geared towards larger groups or families with two separate kitchens (coffee makers in both). The main level has the Master Bedroom with en suite private bathroom and two additional bedrooms and one bathroom. There is a hot tub located on the top main floor with incredible views of grandfather and sugar mountain. The bottom floor has two bedrooms, one bathroom and a game room. The game room has a pool / ping pong table, shuffleboard and darts. There is a fire pit outside where guests can enjoy with amazing views.
Other Details to Note
Although this property is easily accessible with no need to drive up steep mountains, the property is on a private gravel road. In case of snow, 4wd or Awd are necessary to drive up the private road. Snow chains are needed for guests who do not have Awd or 4wd vehicles when snow is present. We do our best to hire snow removal to make the cabin as safe and accessible as possible. Please note having safe transportation is the guests responsibility.

You can park in the driveway, or at the front of the cabin, just make sure to not block the road. We would highly recommend 4WD to get up the private road and driveway to the property in the case of snow during your stay. 4WD would be required if the forecast does call for snow or ice as the snow removal companies do not go up our private road.
