A Dual-Level Retreat Built for Groups! Elk View Lodge is a spacious 5-bedroom, 3-bathroom sanctuary designed specifically for multi-family vacations and large group getaways. Spanning two fully-equipped levels on a private acre, the lodge offers the rare ability for guests to gather together or find their own quiet corner of the mountains. The Main Level: Elevation & Iconic Views The Master Suite: Features a king bed and a private en-suite bathroom. Guest Wings: Two additional stylish bedrooms and a shared full bathroom. The Hub: A living area and a fully equipped chef’s kitchen featuring a dedicated coffee station. The Deck: Step outside to the main wrap-around porch to find the luxury hot tub, where you can soak while staring directly at the peaks of Grandfather and Sugar Mountain. The Lower Level: The Entertainment Zone Perfect for kids, teens, or the young at heart, the walk-out lower level serves as its own private retreat. The Game Room: A high-energy space featuring a pool/ping-pong table, shuffleboard, and darts. Getting Here & Mountain Access: While Elk View Lodge is conveniently located and easily accessible—avoiding the common winding roads common in the area —there are a few mountain-specific details to help you prepare for your stay: The lodge is located on a well-maintained private gravel road. Winter Weather Requirements: Your safety is our priority. If you are visiting during the winter months (typically December–February) when snow or ice is present, 4WD or AWD vehicles are necessary to navigate the private gravel road. Traction & Safety: If your vehicle does not have 4WD or AWD, snow chains are required to ensure you can safely reach the lodge during active snowfall. Our Commitment: We proactively hire professional snow removal services during winter weather events to keep our driveway and home outside area as safe and accessible as possible. However, please note that ensuring you have appropriate mountain-ready transportation is the responsibility of the guest.

Arrival & Entry: Easy Keyless Entry: To ensure a smooth start to your vacation, you will receive a unique, secure access code prior to arrival. This code will be active for the entire duration of your stay, allowing you to come and go as you please without the hassle of a physical key. Total Privacy: From the moment you enter the private drive, the home and all its amenities—including the hot tub and fire pit—are reserved strictly for your group’s use.

You can park in the driveway, or at the front of the cabin, just make sure to not block the road. We would highly recommend 4WD to get up the private road and driveway to the property in the case of snow during your stay. 4WD would be required if the forecast does call for snow or ice as the snow removal companies do not go up our private road.
